I was unable to make it to today's game, but G'Pa Terry has provided to following small snippet:
Today's game was totally dominated by the Freedom. They easily had 20 shots on goal. But it wasn't until the 37th minute of the second half that one went in! Second goal came in the final seconds. NJ's keeper was awesome. She withstood a constant barrage of shots and kept her focus. Emily let loose a blistering shot off of one of the many rebounds, but it went over the net.
Emily reports the official stats for shots on goal was 26-1 Freedom.
